Our Mission
Future generations won't face a crisis of technology—they will face a crisis of thirst.
While digital innovation moves
at light speed, human survival still relies fundamentally on water security.
Across Saurashtra, chronic seasonal droughts, erratic monsoons, and overexploited deep
aquifers have left local farm
wells dry and village tanks depleted, while coastal saline intrusion compromises what
little water remains. Critical
rainfall is left uncaptured every year.
Co-founded by cousins Mahek Rawal and Dirdh Modi, Droplets Water Fund bridges
traditional local intelligence, field
engineering, and youth education to reverse this crisis. Starting in Rajula and
expanding across Saurashtra, we are
raising initial launch capital to take immediate action—funding hands-on conservation
structures and launching
water-literacy programs in local schools. We are at the starting line of a vital
movement.
Save Water - Secure the Future
Meet the Founders
Mahek Rawal
Growing up in Rajula, Saurashtra, we witnessed firsthand the hardship of empty wells, dry seasons, and the quiet resilience of our people. We founded Droplet Water Fund to prove that real change begins at home with a single conviction: top-down fixes aren't enough—real change starts with the community. By pioneering smart technology alongside local community action, we are building a water-secure future for our region from the ground up. Effective water conservation relies on rigorous data. Data provides the roadmap, but community action delivers the impact. Sustainable resource management requires active, widespread public participation." We aren't just saving water; we're building a climate-secure future for the places we call home.
Dirdh Modi
In today's tech-driven world, I wanted to apply problem-solving where it hits closest to home: my maternal homeland of Saurashtra, Gujarat. After seeing my grandparents struggle with water scarcity,Mahek and I co-founded the Droplets Water Fund. We leverage innovative technology and modern solutions to combat water shortages at their root. As my mother always says, 'Drop by drop, the ocean is filled'—and in this saying, Droplets Water Fund is our first drop toward a revolution in water conservation.
Where Every 💧 Goes
School & Community Awarness
- School & College Workshops: Interactive water-literacy modules teaching leak detection, rainfall tracking, and efficiency.
- Farmer Meetups: Field workshops on sustainable irrigation and drought-resistant crop selection.
- Public Campaigns: Community and village events driving local conservation habits.
Smart Water Labs & Harvesting
- Water & Salinity Testing Labs: Deploying low-cost testing kits in schools, hostels, and colleges.
- Smart Tap Modernization: Installing efficiency fixtures to eliminate high-volume campus waste.
- Institutional Harvesting: Building rooftop rainwater collection and storage systems for large educational buildings.
Resilient Farms
- Soil Sensors: Deploying low-cost moisture sensors to prevent groundwater over-extraction.
- Precision Irrigation: Promoting micro-drip and sprinkler systems for local agricultural belts.
- Coastal Smart Pumping: Automated pumps that track tidal cycles and salinity in real time, turning off during high tides to keep salt water out of farm wells and soil.
